Pemilihan nominasi akhir berdasarkan pemungutan suara panel ahli dan suara penggemar sejak Jumat, 11 Oktober 2024 hingga Minggu, 27 Oktober 2024.
Film yang masuk nominasi 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards dirilis pada kurun waktu pada Kamis, 12 Oktober 2023 hingga Kamis, 10 Oktober 2024.
Acara ini akan berlangsung pada Jumat, 29 November 2024 di KBS Hall, Seoul. Han Ji Min dan Lee Je Hoon diketahui akan berperan sebagai host.
